Richard L. “Dick” Davis
Dick Davis is currently the Chairman of the Board and the Executive Director for PSI. With 30 years of military service and two decades of corporate experience, he is focusing his management and leadership skills by directly controlling and managing PSI’s daily business operations. In his most recent projects within PSI, he provided leadership in support of U.S. military projects throughout Afghanistan and support to Department of Defense’s (DOD) Task Force for Business Stability Operations for international logistics and security support to the minerals extraction industry in Afghanistan. Prior to starting this company, he served as the Vice President for the Special Operations Division at SAIC and was responsible for management of more than $50 million in contracts. Additionally, he worked as liaison between SAIC and the Special Operations community, as well as providing assistance to other SAIC organizations within the company. Mr. Davis retired from the U.S. Army as a Command Sergeant Major after having served in many senior leadership roles in a number of critical DOD organizations.
Steve Mackinnon is the Managing Director of PSI, providing corporate leadership and supporting program development for emergency planning, security management, emergency preparedness, strategic planning, crisis management and training in an “all hazards” approach to mitigation, recovery, response and reconstitution. Mr. Mackinnon has more than thirty years of broad experience at the international, federal, organizational and individual levels. Additionally, he has extensive experience with logistics and as a risk management consultant, operations, strategic planning and organizational development.
Whit Kennon is the Senior Director for Domestic Operations for PSI. In this role, he is directly responsible for PSI’s homeland security mission, to include leadership of the strategic planning and analysis, operational risk management and IT solutions branches. His professional experience includes more than 25 years as a consultant to the federal government and other commercial companies, including 20 years in the aviation industry. Mr. Kennon’s expertise includes practical aviation skills (commercial licensed pilot, multi-engine and instrument rated) as well as broad and solid technical security skills. Mr. Kennon has extensive management experience in a wide range of positions with successive increases in scope and responsibility related to programs, personnel and funding. Mr. Kennon also has a track record of standardizing and implementing programs designed to benefit the organization. Prior to joining PSI, he served as an Assistant Vice President for SAIC’s Homeland Security Support Division and was responsible for more than $20M in contracts.
