Interagency & Host Nation
PSI also has extensive U.S. interagency, civilian, and partner nation exercise planning and training experience. PSI has supported over 100 counterterrorism crisis response and preparedness exercises and training events in over 30 countries as well as domestically.
We routinely develop and facilitates tabletop exercises, seminars, and other training vignettes, leading discussions ranging from ten to over 100 participants at the academic and strategic level as well more hands-on, operational training.
Training audiences include senior U.S. and partner nation government officials, ambassadors, embassy country teams, U.S. and Host Nation military and civilian representatives, DoD and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) staff, foreign service officers, local guards, and other staff. Each training and preparedness engagement is developed and executed to prepare U.S. government personnel and other participants on the policies, procedures, and capabilities to respond to an emergency, such as a catastrophic bombing, hostage situation, or weapons-of-mass-destruction (WMD) incidents overseas.
Training areas of expertise include, but are not limited to:
- U.S. Presidential Policy
- U.S. Counterterrorism Policy and Operations Plans
- U.S. and Host Nation Authorities and Approval Processes
- WMD Crisis Response
- Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high yield Explosives (CBRNE) Response
- Hostage and Personnel Recovery
