Specialized Training and Exercise Support
PSI provides both domestic and international training and exercise support tailored specifically to each clients’ needs. We have a diverse, multi-disciplinary employee base capable of developing rapid solutions to a variety of critical issues and training requirements, including a team of proven managers, security and operational specialists, trainers, moderators, role players, scenario developers, controllers, and evaluators.
Our subject matter experts (SMEs) assist with the design, development, coordination, execution, and evaluation of classroom instruction sessions, hands-on periods of instruction, tabletop exercises, senior-leader seminars, and full-scale, whole-of-government events at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. We work closely with our clients and interagency personnel to plan and coordinate requirements necessary to execute realistic training events.
Military Training
PSI’s military training background includes an extensive history of providing direct support across the Special Operations community providing advanced training, programs of instruction (POIs), and evaluations at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.

Training audiences include senior U.S. and partner nation government officials, ambassadors, embassy country teams, U.S. and Host Nation military and civilian representatives, DoD and Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) staff, foreign service officers, local guards, and other staff. Each training and preparedness engagement is developed and executed to prepare U.S. government personnel and other participants on the policies, procedures, and capabilities to respond to an emergency, such as a catastrophic bombing, hostage situation, or weapons-of-mass-destruction (WMD) incidents overseas.

Law Enforcement and Protective Services
PSI ensures our security workforce is fully and currently trained and qualified. Our training personnel are NASA Protective Services Training Academy (NPSTA) certified trainers of Federal Arrest Authority (FAA) Refresher, FAA Bridge Course, Firearms, Defense Tactics, Use of Force, Annual In-Service, and TASER. Our trainers maintain up to date training standards and lesson plans.
PSI Security Officers undergo Semi-Annual Firearms Safety, Firearms Training, and Firearms Qualification as well as routine training on firearms, security education and awareness, and emergency management. In addition, we manage range operations, ensuring high levels of orderliness and safety.
PSI has applied national and international best practices and understandings of emergency planning, preparedness, response, and recovery operations at the national and local levels to mitigate loss of life, property, or resources.

PSI also conducts Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA) is to reassess the physical design, operational procedures, security, personnel selection, emergency response protocols, and operational containment policies and procedures of laboratories and other facilities to ensure the security and protection against the constantly developing local and global threat matrices. We develop cost-effective strategies and solutions providing immediate and long-term response and recovery planning to ensure effective and secure continuity of operations.

Interagency & Host Nation
PSI also has extensive U.S. interagency, civilian, and partner nation exercise planning and training experience. PSI has supported over 100 counterterrorism crisis response and preparedness exercises and training events in over 30 countries as well as domestically.
We routinely develop and facilitates tabletop exercises, seminars, and other training vignettes, leading discussions ranging from ten to over 100 participants at the academic and strategic level as well more hands-on, operational training.
